Bobby Mitchell: Bio
Bobby Mitchell
Bobby has always had a passion for singing. So at the age of 20 he taught himself to play the guitar and started writing songs. He began sitting in with some local bands singing Traditional Country Music never singing his originals. Around 1996 he started playing HIS songs to the public and HillBillyBob was born. Six years later he released his debut CD “Redneck Havin Fun.” He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Kelly Shoppe and the Amarillo Band, Hayes Carll, Richard Dobson, Rex Bell & The Hemmer Ridge Mt. Boys along with many others in the past. Bobby Mitchell plays Clasic Country Music with a little Clasic Rock and is known for his original Abnormal Country Music.
He is a member of the Fort Worth Songwriters, Houston-Fort Bend Songwriters Associations and Houston Association of Acoustic Musicians. His CD “Redneck Havin Fun” is available at: My Texas Music.com & C D Baby.com.
